I had a request for some more pictures of AC loco’s under the roof. Actually under the roof is perhaps the only place I can take a half decent photo of electric locos and units as you can’t see the missing overhead. Previous images have either used the plank, been cropped less than ideally to hide that the overhead isn’t there or have just relied on the viewer to fill it in for me!
Magic, Jim. Just pure magic.
Real classic stuff from the 80’s. Will you bother with OH stuff in the station eventually as the tolerances are so tight that I don’t think the viewer would ever see it anyway? Wonder if you’d ever consider posting a vid of a train passing through one of the platforms – just for those of us that never get to see the real thing at a show?
Mike
Fantastic stuff Jim. Can almost hear them ticking away!
Nice pics. Did you eventualy fit marker lights to the 86 or did you cheet and photoshop them in ?
Nah I illustrated them. They are based on the bachmann 85 which is quite subtle but even then they were only on for 2 seconds of a 30 second exposure. Makes you think that even subtle model lights are something like 15 times too bright for photography.
