Looking very smart, Jim. I’d use a lightly oiled’ metallic-based mix for the whistle and plumbing too, similar to the main body of the rods, just to bring it a little more to life. Consider a hint of gunmetal on the fittings at the forrard end of the tanks.
Aside from a few little details, adding a crew and grease on the buffers, The Deeley tank is now complete. Just got to make it look wet now!
